Using her extensive knowledge, experience, and outstanding reputation in the film and video production business, Michelle began creating DVDs for the ridgeback national specialties.  She improved upon the level of production by interviewing the exhibitors and judges and by adding 3D animated graphics with sound effects to identify every single exhibit. She also added music and a compelling opening montage for each event including some of the more fun, candid moments enjoyed by the exhibitors, portraying good sportsmanship and camaraderie. Due to the overwhelmingly positive response to her video work, Michelle was asked to produce DVDs for other breed clubs for their national and regional specialties, as well as all-breed shows.  And so, Angel Dawg Productions was born. Michelle’s 20+ years in the film and video business, coupled with her devotion to the dog fancy is the perfect combination to provide this innovative and unparalleled service to her fellow exhibitors.

Michelle Michael - Managing Partner

Angel Dawg Productions was founded by Michelle Michael. Michelle has been in the film and video production business since 1984 and is very passionate about her work. Throughout her career, she has produced and directed hundreds of national and regional television commercials, fashion films, documentaries, marketing films, and training videos with a number of ADDY’s, Emmy’s, and other esteemed awards to her credit over the years. Michelle is equally passionate about the sport of dogs.  When she attended her very first dog show, her life was forever changed.  She fell in love with the sport and, as a result, she can now be found at a dog show nearly every weekend of the year.  Her passion and commitment to the dog fancy led to a major shift in her career.

Margaret Lalka - Partner

Margaret Lalka was just four years old when she attended her first dog show and five when she participated in her first horse show. From those moments on, she was hooked, and enjoyed considerable success exhibiting her family’s show dogs in the conformation ring, as well as competing in the quarter horse and rodeo circuits.

Margaret was destined to create moving video images for the dog fancy. She was introduced to the business by the filmmakers in her family at a very early age. Growing up in the production business, she became passionate about capturing beautiful and compelling images of purebred dogs and quarter horses.

Margaret is naturally gifted behind the camera, but has also received formal training from some of the most respected individuals and institutions in the business, most notably, the world renowned International Film & Television Workshops in Rockport, Maine. She also has experience working in the world of Information Technology which has afforded her a keen understanding of the newest and latest technologies available in the video production business.
